speakers in door panels
Hi Folks.
1989 Toyota 4wd regular cab.
I am interested in improving the sound in my truck. It's a regualr cab, so my options are limited. I am thinking about cutting holes in the door panels to install some 6.?" speakers there. I am wondering how to do this...i.e. how do I cut the hole? How much room do I have behind the panel for the magnet/basket? Maybe I can rig up a spacer of some kind if space is extremely limited. Is the panel strong enough to hold together with a speaker in it? Or would I need to brace it somehow? Where is the best place to cut the hole? Lower right corner I assume?
I have done a search and read all of them that came up. But I still have a few questions.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Glenn, and welcome to the forum.
Did you see a link to my write-up?
I'm sure you could get some of these fabbed up to fit your doors if needed.
They allow you to have a deeper speaker since it sits out a little ways from the door.
I think the best place for them is in the lower front portion of the doors.
