Some questions for newb.
I recently purchased a new to me but very used 2002 Tacoma TRD off road. I've done some diagnostic work so far on the factory locker. Truck has about 175,000 miles on it. Assuming the previous owner didn't want to replace the abs wheel sensors in the rear axle, he pulled the abs fuse. The rear locker light just blinks, I haven't gone as far as pulling the actuator yet. But I cannot hear it engage, does it have its own fuse I can't find? I've tried all of the driving patterns and neutral engagement in 4low. The truck does have an extra harness hanging off the original for the locker which is kind of discerning.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Can I have an admin move to the newbie tech section since I have made the ultimate forum SIN of making my first post to this forum with a very specific, yet potentially mindless yet legitimate question on a very common problem on a subject that is beat to death yet not answered from searching the countless post on the subject.

Well, I did look into it a little bit last night. I couldn't find any kind of wiring diagram pertaining to the e-locker in any of the FSMs for that year. And I wasn't sure how much help the only other e-locker wiring diagram I know of would be to you. But who knows? Maybe it's got something you might find interesting, so here you go.
Here's where it came from. Might be some links there that you'll find informative as well.

Thank you very much! That is what I needed to reference. Now do you think that 10 amp fuse is behind the drivers kick panel? Because the rest of the 4wd system works great, and the dash indicator works, as well as the rear locker indicator, of course it just flashes. But no sound from the actuator, just trying to eliminate electrical possibilities first before wasting time on the actuator even though it is probably ceased.

All that really shows there is how to wire it up yourself. How Toyota did it? I haven't a clue. You're pretty luck I was able to give you that much. I was hoping you'd go through those links and find a better answer.
I got nothin'.
Good luck!
