fade

Hi guys, I was wondering something. Everyone always talks about pioneer and alpine headunits. I just recently bought a Clarion 645 over both (suggested by my friend who claims he's an audiophile and who happened to get it for me quite cheap). Does anyone have any input on clarions? I still plan to run stock speakers (unless it doesn't do the new deck justice) and I'm not planning on putting in an amp.
