Shock/Spring Replacement-Recommendations?
Well, I've searched through post after post and haven't really found one that answers my question. I have a 96 2wd 4runner w/ 157k miles. The ride is rather rough and the slightest bumps feel like huge potholes. I bought the runner almost a year ago I don't believe the previous owner ever replaced the shocks. Heres my question: What is a good shock to use as a replacement for mainly on-road driving? Also, do I need to replace the springs as well? I'm not sure how much of the ride is determined by the spring and shock. Thanks and please direct me to any posts that may have answered my question already..

Skyjacker
I got myslef SkyJacker Shocks, and a SKyjacker steering stabilizer. Lifetime warranty, And they will work with Stock or with a 3" Lift (Which I will be adding soon)
Great Prices and What a differance in ride.

Note: It does look however that you is smoking some bud in one of those miscellaneous pics, maybe it's just me seeing something that isn't there, but I don't think I'd post such on the internet for all to see (cops).

Model numbers?? Please
Thanks for the replies. I've looked at the Bilstines? and they seem to have some good sets to choose from. What model do you recommend? I've looked at several on the net and am not sure which is the best. Are there any good on-line shops you can recommend to order from? thanks for the info.

bilsteins are great, however in real world testing many complaints are ahd that they are too harsh/well responsive depending on whos view.... personally if its a street rig, i think monroe sensatracs/reflexes or edelbrock ias may be the best bet...
