shackle lifting
When exteneded shackles are used for lifting the rear are you required to add a leaf? Also, what is the benifit of a greasable shackle? Squeeks?

I JUST DID AN ADD A LEAF. FROM MY UNDERSTANDING, YOU DO NOT NEED AN ADD A LEAF TO DO A SHACKLE LIFT, BUT YOU CAN USE BOTH FOR EVEN MORE FLEX AND LIFT
I DID MY LIFT WITHOUT THE SHACKLES.

The shackle lift will ride exactly the same. I originally added a shackle lift because of the rear end sag that I was getting with my camper top. It lifted the rear 1 1/2" but not enough, so I ended up going with an add-a-leaf as well. With the camper top off my truck, well lets just say that the rear is a lot higher than the front! And the heavy Badland fromt bumper and winch don't help with that either! But I do have the SAW torsion bars as well.
