Setting keyless entry on a 99??

Does anyone know the procedure for this? I know there's a certain set of locks/unlocks and other things you have to do, but I don't have the list. If anyone knows could they please

If you have 2 remotes make sure you have both remotes ready.
open drivers side door
stick the key in the ignition then pull it out
lock and unlock the door 5 times (thats 10 times that you have to press the button) It should be completed with door unlocked.
shut and then open the door
lock and unlock the door 5 times(thats 10 times that you have to press the button) It should be completed with door unlocked.

stick the key in the ignition and turn to on then off then on then off
pull the key out of the ignition
you should hear the door locks go clunk clunk
press the two top buttons on the remote for 1 second
then press the unlock button by itself for 1 second. Now for the second remote,
press the two top buttons on the remote for 1 second,
then press the unlock button by itself for 1 second. After you have completed the program of both remotes, put the key in the ignition and pull it out. Your remotes are now programmed

Thanks!

I'm hearing the "clunk" of the doorlocks at the end of the cycle, but i'm unable to program it. (It's just 1, as I already have 1 that's programmed). You say hold the top 2 buttons for 1 second, which i assume you mean the lock and unlock button, then release and hold only the unlock button for 2 seconds.

Guess it's just my error. I checked the battery and it checks out at the correct 3V

Any tips?

Got it! Must have been just user error as I figured. Thanks so much, now I don't have to go by the dealer and act like a moron!

You need to re-program both your remotes at the same time, the first time I did it, I only did the new one, then my other one didn't work.
