Which seat covers?

I need some seat covers dammit. I cant decide whether I should get some sheepskin ones or Wet Okoles (sp?) I feel like Sheepskin ones would be warm and cozy in the winter - but I also feel like they might end up looking like a pair of wet dogs after skiing - The neoprene the Wet Okoles are made from would prob be better for this - I honestly have no idea.

Help yotatechers, you are my only hope.

Yea I plan on getting some seat covers soon so I'm interested in hearing recommendations. I was also thinking of getting some of those seat covers with magnets in them, don't really know where to look for them though.

I put Wet OKoles in my '85 earlier this year, they are working great. They really rejuvenated the seats, firmed them up with the extra padding and support. Also got the inflatable lumbar support. They were comfortable this summer, no problems with sweating and I don't have A/C.

its good to hear another "non sweat" experience, i was afraid that this was a common problem. i would feel much better paying the money for these if they wont cause me to sweat a ton.

did you get any kind of cool logo in the covers?

I swear by the wet okoles - protect well, hold up well, and are more comfy than the stock seats. Plus, they kinda look OEM.

I have wet okoles in my Tacoma and I love them. When it is really hot out they made my back sweat a little, but once you get moving and get air coming in or have the AC on they are fine. I have had them all through the summer and I would definitely buy them again.

i had the okoles on my old 92 and was really happy with them. tonnes of comfort. make sure to get the rear pockets. And a big tip is to go with a dark colour. Mine were grey on black and they showed the dust/dirt quickly.

wet okoles all the way. my a/c hasn't worked in years and they've never bothered me one bit.

buy the shampoo & uv protectant kit with them, too. i wish i had maintained mine better; they are faded (charcoal center panel) but are still in excellent shape otherwise. and they do beef up the seat support considerably.

Here is another option. I just ordered a set of these a month or so ago. They are OEM style in appearance and are very high quality. They will make them to fit an yota seat from 83+ I believe. I had them made to a set of 84 4runner seats that I found.

heres a company you reallly outa give a call.
http://www.shearcomfort.com/
BETTER than wet okoles. i personally GURANTEE it. no i dont work for them, but it was high-class from the moment i called them to the day i sat on them.
quick summary:
price (1st thing on mind right?)-150 shipped for front pair
type-neoprene
fit-custom cut for the 4runner bucket seat...trust me, the fit was so tight and awesome you wouldnt believe it
feel-more comfortable than my leather couch and all of my friends rides who have wet okoles
performance-had them for one summer...i was at the pool quite a lot...would get in soaking wet, come home, shower and go out...by the time i was ready to go back out, completely dry (approx 30 min)

as for pics...i have none...they were in my old 4runner, and the buyer would not buy it without the seat covers...if that tells you how good/comfortable they were

i cant vouch for any other type of seat cover they make besides the neoprene...but the company overall was very professional like i said. hopefully by people reading what ive said and checking out their website, there will be more feedback available from other customers.

do you plan on buying another set? in other words, were they good enough that you'll buy again after selling your old ones?
