Scooped hoods cheap

Over on www.partstrain.com they have the sport hood for $130;is this too good to be true.

They also have alot of other body parts, bumpers and a few other parts at good prices but their lenses, fogs and some other stuff still is a bit pricey but better than OEM.

I dont know if that price is to good to be true but i got my sport hood for $15 It is really dented and unusable except for the scoop so I cut it out and am going to weld it into my hood.

I think those are aftermarket stuff not OEM, I checked with a salvage yard around here and they can get an aftermarket out the door for 150, but I am scare of the fitment.

that may be right for the hood itself but it probably doesn't include color of choice and all the scoop parts which are quite pricy.

Damn you lucky 3rd gen hood freaks. How hard would it be to fab a 4rd gen hood onto my 2nd gen?

Really? I searched and didn't come up with much... only people selling the scoop itself.

Remember too, that you have to then get that hood shipped which will probably run you upwards of $100, making it safer and more cost efficient to just buy the OEM one.

Usually when they sell the hood for cheap it means none of the scoop parts come with it. You still need to purchase them separately. Figure the hood will be about $500 plus paint as a good estimate for the mod.
