SAW Part # questions
I'm looking at getting the Sway-A-Way RaceRunner coil overs for my rig. I think the 100K+ miles on the original shocks has taken its toll as I seem to be bouncing around a lot....I am quite amazed that they have lasted this long, though.
I found a decent deal on some saws but they are part number:
52000-108-10
Whereas I have written down that I should be looking for part number:
52000-108-09
Now these part numbers seem very close to me....Indeed on Sway-A-Way's web site I don't see them listing the third set of numbers at all.
So, though these appear to me that they might fit, I wanted to check with the shock gurus here to see if that was indeed the case as these aren't cheap. Thanx!

I don't know the part #, I'd have to go check the box mine came in. But there was an issue with the bottom bushing on the shock not fitting my lower shock mounting bolt. My stock bolt was much bigger than the bushing they provide, I remember someone else writing about this problem, but they didn't go into much detail as to what they did. I was lucky that a local 4x4 shop had some larger bushings that worked out perfectly, I think they might have come from Fox shocks coilovers, because they are also local to this area. This seems to only be happening with the newer versions of the SAWs. I'll get back to you on the part #.

Thanks, Rob. I appreciate the info. I asked Sway-A-Way what they would recommend a couple days ago, but have not heard back. I wasn't too suprised at this as I had heard that they are not a super-responsive company. Anything else I need to look out for? I've gone over Schaefer's & BajaTaco's sites as well as profusely searching this board.
What's the difference RT? Guess they won't work then

if you want a faster response. Email ryan at ryan@swayaway.com
They do respond quick. They even called me back the same day.

They will work just fine...all 4 part numbers fit the following:
Sequoia
Tundra
4Runner
Tacoma
People used to refer to them as Tacoma or Tundra valved, bottom line is this...If you order 4Runner, Sequoia, or Tundra RaceRunners you will get "Tundra Valved" If you order Tacoma RaceRunners, you will get "Tacoma Valved" I do not even order "Tacoma Valved" anymore.
Bottom line, Sequoia RaceRunners, are the same as Tundra and 4Runner, they have the stiffer valving. Let me know if you have any questions!
