San Diego Test Fit: Pro-Comp 17x8" Series 97 or 99
Hi!
I'm desperate and in need of a test fit.
I've done the Tundra brake swap on my '97 4Runner (the big ones, 231mm) and I need to check the fit of a set of Pro-Comp Series 99 or 97s - the steel ones - before I order my own. I'm in San Diego. Who's got?
I will compensate - beer, fame, air-time, whatever fits.
STICK

I made the stock rims work - took a little time with the grinder - but I'm concerned the wheel-to-hub center portion (the same region you have to grind on the split-three spoke Toyota 16"s) might be too shallow and rub the caliper. Can't be grinding a new steel rim like the cast aluminum on a used OEM one, you know?
I'm ordering them through Pro-Comp, and I don't want to have to send them back.
