Sagging liftgate...
Does anyone know of a good aftermarket supplier of gas liftgate supports? Of course the OEM supports are outrageously expensive!

Hi Daren, if you want factory, drop these guy's an email.

They might have a good set of factory ones in from a wreck, and be much cheaper than new.

Corey, I thought about pulling some from a wrecked truck but I figured I'd be in the same shape I'm currently in. Does anyone know the life expectancy of those shocks? What causes them to fail? I feel certain I'm gonna end up banging my head on that hatch!

Have you checked with your local autoparts store? The Schucks store I go to has some of those. Its anybody's guess if they have the right kind, but it might be worth a try. I don't have any experience with the quality, because I was looking for a light-weight one for a small pickup canopy and had to go to a canopy dealer to get that.
