Question S.o.s.

I recently got a 2003 4runner limited edition.

I can read in the stereo system the words "CD changer control". The fact is that the audio system only have one "mouth" for to feed the dics, but somebody told me that this player is cappable to get inside up to 6 cd's. I was reviewing the Toyota web site and as standard equipment is included an AM/FM in dash 6 cd player. There is no info about operation of the cd player in this site, even in the owner manual comes with the truck.

Anyone know what means "in dash 6 cd player"?

The audio system have 6 buttons row for FM and AM memory stations, but in some of these you can read also the words "up disc, down disc, scan " etc.

There is anybody can bring a bit of light?

Best regards from DR.

Well, I don't have the in-dash 6 disc cd player in my 4runner, but it is exactly what it says. There is only 1 slot to load all 6 discs, no case to pull out and load or anything like that.

If it is anything like my IS300, which is a toyota, there is a LOAD button on the radio that you must press before putting a disc in. It gives a flashing light/green light or something to let you know it is ready to load the disc.
Just press the button, wait for light, load disc, and repeat.

The display will show you how many discs you have loaded.

I am sure someone who has this system in their 4runner will confirm or correct me if I am wrong.

Good luck
