The runners makin noises
Ok so I just finished cleanin the thing and took it for a little drive and hear noises that werent' there before and one kinda worries me. First is comin from under the hood. Its a squeaky sound and seems to be coming from either the belts, or the fan. Second, and less important but still annoying, sounds like a block or ball or something bouncing in an empty container yet I have nothing in the trunk. Im pretty sure its coming from the inside trunk and sounds like it might be the empty little compartment area on the right side. The whole side there is a bit loose. Do you guys have any clue what's making these noises particularly the first one? I really need some input fast and hopefully it is nothing bad becuase this would be a really bad time. Oh and I forgot to mention that I have a 98 runner and that the noise from under the hood did not appear before I got my oil changed at the stealer but that could be just a coincidence.

You may have a jack in the back, make sure it's snuggled up tight. Some are under the rear seat, just double check.
As far as squeaky belts, anything you drive through can glaze them, like water puddles, lots of dust, etc. Or, some jackhole could have spilled a little oil on a belt, ya never know.
If you did any washing on the motor, you probably just need to give the belts a chance to dry out, if they slipped and glazed, they may never be quiet again.
Gooc luck!
