rubber floors for the 4runner
I am wanting to change out my carpet for an entirely rubber floor. I am not really wanting to rhino-line my floors.
I can't find anything like that for our trucks.
I have been talking to some companies to have them made. But it will cost me a bundle. Is there anyone else that would be interested in removable rubber mats for thier trucks?
I have an 88' but if it works out, I could have some made for other years.
Let me know, because if no-one is interested, I am not going to bother with it.
Thanks
Kent

I was just wondering why you want rubber floors? So river crossings and mud are simple to deal with? That sounds good to me, but why don't you want Rhino lining? If its cost, I have a friend who bought a can of roll on stuff like Rhino lining that wasn't too bad. If its the finish you don't like I don't know what else there is
Anyway, just wondered

Yeah, if you took out your front seats and arm rest/console you would see that the carpet in your rig is one large solid sheet. You would just replace that with the camo vinyl. I like them too, but I don't have the cash, plus I think I would wait till my carpet is really trashed.

I was wanting something that is removable, and very durable. And a little different. The only downside that I see, is that there is the chance of water getting trapped under it, ans possibly causing rust under the rubber floor.
I think I am going to just go with the lime green carpet
my new carpet

LiveLarg: I am also looking for the same thing. I want to put it into my new Runner, so removeable would be great, if it fit right. I live and work in a muddy and sandy environment, the carpet is already taking major abuse. I may consider it over the floor in my FJ40 as well.
Some Dynamat and Brownbread underneath and it would be good to go. Thanks for the post Corey.
