RS3000 owners, help
Anyone who has a RS3000 alarm, I have a question for you.
My alarm keeps going of while driving. I was thinking that it may have been a stuck button in my remote. But why would it arm when the ignition is on?
Can anyone check and see if you alarm will arm when your vehicle is on?

Travis,
Ok, went to the 4runner and gave it a try. Here's what I found:
About 1/2 the times I tried, I could disarm the alarm after starting. The other 1/2, I could not. I tried to duplicate both results, but I couldn't.
So there you have it.
Oh, check my write up on reprogramming the alarm remotes. The ops manual (pdf) is on the page too. I recall there is a procedure by where you can clear the brain rolling code as well as the alarm remotes. Might be worth a shot to reset both.
