Rough Idle on Start

Rough Idle on Start
Hi, my 95 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4 just just doing started this:
On start, the engine feels like it is not running on all cylinders, kind of a rough loping idle. As soon as I punch the accelerator, and give a little gas, the problem goes away for the duration of the trip. Idle is smooth. This only seems to happen on a cold start.
The inline fuel filter has been changed within the last few weeks.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Have you checked your coolant level? I developed a small HG leak prior to breaking spark plugs from water shock. I had a shop retorque the head bolts($125 w/ other minor repairs) and it solved it for about 3 months. The leak down tests and compression checks showed nothing. It was fianlly the ceramic insulator cracking on the s/p's that made me realize it was time to do the HG.

I didn't make it really clear, I had the exact same symptoms on start up if I let it sit for more than 5-6 hours it would do it. On short stops it wouldn't have time to catch water in the cylinder. Hopefully, yours is nothing more than a dirty injector. Try some sea foam there is a great link on here about it. Good luck.
