RockWare Bumper Installed
Well, with the help of Darren for giving me a ride to CO Springs and the great guys at RockWare, I finally got my new bumper. I went without the tire carrier feature. I know that I will lose departure angle but the convenience of not having to open a gate was big for me. If I really need the additional room, I can always put the spare in the back. Yes, that is a 285 BFG AT spare. I shot these quick pics and will have better ones later. I am very happy with their work and really like the look of the truck now after ditching the stock bumper. I just wasn't into the chrome.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The bumper which cost me $850 weighs slightly more than the stock bumper plus all the stock brackets plus the OEM trailer hitch.

Did you get to see Matt's buggy? When I got my bumper it still looked like a Jeep!
Good looking bumper, those guys do awesome work. I would really like someone to go there for some serious work like front and rear coils/coilovers so you can see some real Rockware muscle.

Lookin' good, Ashu! You can't get any better pics than those, however a side shot would be nice, too. I would have liked to have seen those side ends tapered off a bit as they go a ways further back than mine. A minor nit, though, and I'm sure you're really liking the finished piece. Welcome to the club! Congrats!

Hey, that angle looks familiar! The only difference is that yours has red paint. Actually, I was referring to the back ends on the corners. Like making the top coming near the body under the tail lights. I could probably go either way. How about a side shot of the whole rig? Get back outside while it's still light out!

Darren,
My truck is still in CO Springs. I settled with Matt this am but I have to go pick it up tonight after Arch gets off of work. A pain in the ass, but I had no other choice since I did not have a ride.

really nice....i'm Jealous. I'm looking to get the chrome rear off my truck too. I really like the black contrast against the sunfire red.
