Revtek or Cornfed

Alright guys, the rig is gettin lifted here shortly so I need some input. Here are the options I have:

1. Buy the Revtek for $315 and install myself.

2. Buy Cornfed spacers ($145) for the front and OME coils for the rear ($125) and install myself.

3. Buy the Daystar lift advertised on ebay and install it myself. Anyone have any info on this lift?

I like option #2 the best because it uses springs in the back and not spacers and it would cost less, wouldn't it? Are those the only parts i would need? Im looking to order within the next day or so. Hopefully I can get her lifted pretty soon.

I'd say cornfed all the way they're great stuff that works !!

plus he's a fellow yota owner so u know his products are gonna be good.

installation, always do it yourself so u learn more about your yota if you don't know how, ask any of us or even setup a wrenchathon and have people come over for a weekend party or something!

good luck

i ran 2.5" spacers with OME struts in the front and OME coils/shocks in the rear for 6 months and loved it.

FYI, it will be about $550 for this setup.

I have front and rear cornfed spacers and they are great. The rear is a little soft so I think I am going to go with Downey springs. I also threw out the dead factory shocks and got Bilstein which made a huge difference as well.

Im not going to replace the shocks right now, that will come later. Do I need the OME struts in the front?

Is there any reason why I couldnt install OME HD coils all around and get out for about $300 for the whole lift?

My .02 is if your gonna be taken the front apart to put spacers in do the shocks now ... no sense in tearing it down again to do it latter, the rears can be done latter but I say do all 4 at once. You may also want to consider a diff drop spacer to help with cv angle.
I went with the Revtek kit since it was a complete kit, but I have noticed the rears starting to settle, so may have to go and get some oem for the rear here before the years up but overall it was just $300 for the lift. I already had Bilstiens from a year or more ago so I left them in for now. You can probaly save some $$ if you go with another brand of shock or leave the factory ones on but it is your money. (Don't think it will ride as good on them factory ones)
