Angry Reverse problem

I have another problem with my 91' 4Runner V6 2WD A/T. When the car stays overnight and cools off, it takes a long time to get it into reverse gear. When the car warms up, it shifts right away. What could it be??? Could it be something else, but slipping tranny?

Thanks

I am assuming the fluid level is good and there are no leaks or vomiting.
sounds like tranny may need a rebuild, go to a reliable shoppe and check it out before you lose the gear altogether.
goodluck
