Okay and now is the reverse light diagram a few folks have been waiting for. You can see the pics of how I've mounted my reverse lights (2 seperate sets) by browsing through my webshots pics. Okay so this diagram needs to be explained a bit more. With this setup, when you put your vehicle in reverse your auxiliary lights will come on. If you choose, you can also put in a switch so when you flip it they will come on. This is denoted by the big black dashed line. Many people like to have the option to turn them on whenever, for example to set up a campsite. I mounted my relays for the reverse light behind the drivers side rear panel. There is sufficient space to mount the relay to the metal bracing, as well as a good grounding point ready to use. You will need to find the red/black striped wire behind this panel too. Note that there is a red/black striped wire that will work on the passengers side as well if need be. That should do it!

Assuming you were using a stock toy switch, which has the same config as the one in yer diagram, do you have the lead from the switch and lead from the stock reverse lights spliced together to connect to the relay? This would effectively make the ON position of yer switch "lights on" and the OFF position "auto on" )power from the stock lights) correct? Could that not overload either the switch or reverse lights/fuse?

Or are you saying to use EITHER the switch OR stock reverse lights for juice?

Nope. They only power the coil for the relay either way - that's why you use relays.
