Replacement clutch
I'm new to working with toyotas and trucks in general. The clutch on my 87 is just beginning to slip so I'm looking around for replacement clutches. Everywhere I looks seems to sell a no-name brand for ~$127 and Exedy for ~$133. Are the no-name brands Toyota replacements? Are they any good? If these aren't the OEM replacements, where can I purchase one? I've installed a few exedy clutches on Hondas and have had no complaints, but the pressure plates always felt a little weak for me. How are the exedy replacements for 4Runners?

I would get an OEM Toyota clutch, those seem to hold up well.
I did however, get a cermatallic clutch custom made from my stock disc and used a stock pressure plate on my Celica. It has been holding up very well.

How many miles did the worn out one last for? Put on a OEM Toyota, you pay extra but can't go wrong. If you are going to do it yourself, PM a member here named "TOR", he works for a dealer and can give you a fair price and ship it to your door.
