Replacement Antennae for 2nd Gen besides Taco Whip??

I broke th original the first week i had the truck and bought one from that lady on ebay and it broke so i'm done with the retracting ones and want a good fixed one. I dont really like the Taco Whip kind and was wondering if there are any more out there that are fixed that are relatively cheap. Thanks for the help.

I'm not exactly sure but i think it might be in the writeup. I know it was less than $75 though.

SWEET!!! That's just what i was looking for! In reading on the Firestik site they talk about a 3-way antennae...is there any 3-way that would mount to the 2nd Gen antennae location?? Just a thought but if not i'll definitely be going with that 3 foot firestik.

This might be what im looking for...if I go this route then can i mount the CB to the original antenna hole i currently have??

Kewl Dood!

Personally, I think that your best bet will be to stay away from the 3-signal mix, but some people swear by it for the convenience.

There's a dude out here in the universe named "Alvin" that's been doing antennas and radios for a LONG time. He's a GREAT guy, carries Firestik products for decent prices, and is quickly becoming a "friend of YotaTech". You REALLY should give him a call or drop him an email and get some real-world ideas from him.

Alvin is the "ALF" of "ALF Enterprises" and can be found through:

Just let him know what you'd liek to do (one combo antenna or two) and he'll set you up and/or give you the ups and downs of making it happen.

Have fun!

Mark
