Replaced timing belt,marks were perfect,but not now

Replaced timing belt,marks were perfect,but not now
Installed new belt,tensioner,seals,water pump.Had crank and cams lined up on the marks but now they are off a little and getting a tapping noise.Why are the cam marks off a little? Doesn't the crank mark set on the 0 mark at TDC??? NEED HELP THANKS

Jim, just a suggestion, but I noticed you have a continuation of the same topic in 4 threads and it is usually easier to just have one thread and continue with asking questions/diagnosis in that one since it gets confusing to have the same topic for your truck discussed in multiple threads. That way if someone else comes along and wants to learn from what you went through there is a logical progression of diagnosis and repair hopefully leading to a fix at the end.
