Redline Change w/ Pistions?

Here is a question, I had my head milled and 10 over pistions put in. They took about 16 mm off the head. My question is will my redline lower, get higher, or stay the same?

actually you have to change the stroke to change the redline, but atleast you got more compression

A shorter stroke would help but your redline is also dependent on your valve train. You'd have to have faster acting valves, which means stronger springs, which means increased valve seat pressure and cam lobe wear.

Revs are hard on engines. If you never revved your engine if would definitely last indefinitely.

yes if you shorten the stroke and raise the redline you would need to lighten the valve train to limit float. along with the lighter stronger springs youd also need lightweight rockers, and valves with hollow stems. reducing the weight of the bottom end helps too...
