Rebuild 3VZE 3.0L V6

I have a 1988 Xtra cab 4X4 with the 3VZE 3.0L V6. I blew a head gasket it in last year and went out and bought a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500.
Since the price of gas has skyrocketed I need to do something fast as it costs $105 a week to fill that sucker up.
I am wanting to find a good place to buy the total engine overhaul kit at a reasonable price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What about a good Cam? Maybe something to improve performance without being a gashog.

hmmm not sure I'll have to go look, when I got mine he only had the O/S stainless ones. I'm guessing one is intake the other is exhaust as they're diff sizes. Maybe shoot him and email just in case

I hate to break it to you but that 3.0 isn't going to do that much better than your Ram. If I were you, I'd buy a commuter or a 3rd gen w/ a 3.4.
