Rear Spoiler

My '97 LTD had the rear spoiler/air splitter on the tailgate. My '99 LTD does not.

Is it actually functional at keeping the rear window clean? I highly doubt their is any aerodynamic improvement. .

I took all the parts from my'97 when I scrapped it and wonder if it's worth installing in my '99.

Post a picture, I'd like to see what you're talking about. I just lowered my turbo double cab and am looking for "go fast" looking things LOL

I hear among the Mall Crawler crowd The Hot Go Fast item for 2017 Is Hot Pink Paint Jobs

As soon as it gets warm enough I am breaking out the roller

Did you ever Drive the 97 ??

Just a parts vehicle ??

I kinda remember something about those things kinda helping to keep the back window clear of spray weather they helped who knows

Yes the black bar along the top of the tailgate in your picture is what I'm referring to. So I guess ill be masking and measuring to install it.

Yes Wyoming, I drove my '97 for nearly 2 years before the head gasket went and the frame was beyond repair to consider doing the motor work.
