Rear LC Lift nearly complete........

Ok, I got the LC coils on and went to put the "NEW" LC shocks on. Someone warned me of this but the new shocks didn't come with the washers or "seats" for the top bushings. I figured I'd just call Toyota. I just had a rude awakening. There's 3 on each side required @ 12.75 each! That's 76.50! The shocks cost me $40 bucks. Does anyone have any idea where I can get these? Part number on the shocks were 48531-69486. If you can help me out please let me know. Thanks!

I actually just drilled out the originals and used the top bushing from the OEM's. It works!

Nice work frodin! Glad to see you're finally getting them put on. Now let's see some pics when you're done!

There are 2 on each sde of the top. all you need is the concave washers. they were like $12 for all of them.

Frodin1,

I'm going to be doing this next weekend. So I'm clear, are you saying with a little "modification" you can use all compenents from your old shocks to make the new LC shocks work? Did you end up having to purchasing anything to make the LC shocks work?

thanks
John

Hey KyleT, where did you pick up the washers at for the LC shocks? I checked with Toyota "which was my first problem" and they were 12.75 ea. I'm guessing that I may be able to get these at NAPA or.......... They just need to be bigger that the stock ones.
