Rear driver side shock
I know the Prerunners have gas filled shocks but while I was making a routine inspection underneath the truck I noticed that the driver side rear shock looked like it had oil on it at one point.
You guys know that look? When a weathered piece of metal has had some type of oil on it. Light enough to give it that slightly wet look but not heavy enough to accumulate gunk?
Sorry, no pics as my current camera is not good enough to pick up on the details AND I haven't looked for a Montypics replacement.
Anyhow, back to the shock. The top part is dry while the lower part looks like it's been leaking something from inside. I KNOW that the shock is gas filled, but do I need to be worried?
I just noticed this today so I don't know how long it's been like this. I could have over looked it last time I was under there.
