Rear 2nd gen coil springs

Time for suspension I'm wondering whats recommended for the rear, no really look for a huge lift now, just some that will level it out and give a good ride. When I start moving towards jumping I'll probably have to go with the cruiser coils, but not for now.

Your best bet is probably the Downey 1.5" rear coils.
I voted for the OME solely because I am biased

Downey is definitely the way to go. The kit comes with all the hardware and an extended brake line. I say go with the HDs. That was my choice and they are great IMO.

I like my PP's. They have a nice ride on the road and don't torture me off-road.

I have the Downey 1.5" HD's also, and I think they're perfect if you keep a big spare and tools in the back.

I like to carry as much crap as possible in my 4Runner at all times of course.

I like the Downey's, it was the first mod I did and the best money I've spent on my rig since I've had it!

Coil springs

I voted for Downey only because those are the ones I want, not what I have. Someday ....... if I sell my kids .... or rob a bank .. who knows. J/K

I'm with Cebby, because they were on my 4Runner when I got it.

Have had the Downey HDs on now since the spring of '99.
They let me carry a lot of cargo in the rear with no sag.
