when I first fire up the 22re, it revs about 2100...if i put the clutch in, it revs to about 2500. it lowers once engine has reached operating temp, but this seems too high. Is anything wrong? or is it normal? Clutch affecting revs seems kinda weird. thanks

Yeah, my 22re does that too and I dont see how that can possibly be normal. I know of that sprung hex bolt that adjusts the amount of fuel the cold start injector gives it on startup, but I only found out about it a few days ago so I haven't really messed with it. There is also that throttle body screw that I think adjusts the intake valve opening. The smog guy just showed me that my timing was 2-3 degrees retarded and told me about the paper-slip thing with the diagnosis box, so he reset it for me, haha. Passes smog too.
