Realized Something Strange
It wouldn't make the news of the weird but has anyone ever seen a white sport edition 4Runner with a white scooped hood from the factory? I mean I know you can get a scooped hood and paint it white but did they even make the sport edition in white? I just have never seen one -- ever!

i've never seen one, except mike's (xtremeoffroad). now that looks nice. i thought i saw one in my rear view yesterday, and thought "that's weird" but it turned out to be silver, it just looked white cause of the brightness, distance, etc .
the other day i saw a limited 3rd gen with body color side door cladding and a hood scoop. now that was unusual.

Back to the topic at hand, I've never seen one either and I think the burgandy ones are pretty rare.

One's I've seen
I've seen plenty of Burghundy ones before -- but that's the state university color where I live. I've seen green, black, silver, and blue, not the dark storm grey, red or white though.

i think a red or white 3rd gen sport edition 4runner would look tight.

Well I've never seen the 3rd gens with a factory scoop or sport edition package. Hey by the way what color is your (02Runner) 4Runner? It looks like a cream or pearl off-white color in the pic, or is it white?

Here are two pics, one of my 02 and one of my 03, the 02 is ThunderCloud (grey) and the 03 is White.
White is so much easier to keep looking decent, just hose it off and your good!

Hey Vato,
I have kept them in my garage. I had planned on using them on road trips, but with the way I have to balance my wheels (PITA), I probaly should sell them. They are perfectly fine, and the tires have about 1600 miles on them if they even have that. If you're interested, let me know. I don't know what shipping would be,but it can't be too bad.
