Radio Help!!!!
So I had a aftermarket Alpine headunit professionally installed in my 2000 4Runner SR5 about 4 years ago. I recently went to take it out to reinstall the factory radio and discovered a problem. The harness that transformed the Alpine headunit's wires into plugs for the 4 Runner turns the one plug from the Alpine headunit to two other plugs. That is what I see now, the two plugs that are suppose to plug into the factory radio but the factory radio only has one place to plug them in. So did the place that installed the aftermarket headunit throughout a piece or what exactly is wrong? If anyone can answer my question I would most appreciate it. Thanks.

Those 2 plugs plug into the stock amplifier. Out of the amplifier is the one plug that plugs into the deck. Your amplifier may still be bolted in the truck. Its a big shiney metal thing bolted behind the stereo. If its not there, I guess the install shop stole it.
