R150F question

I'm in the hunt for an R150F from a breaker only there arent too many 4runner/surfs about. Can anyone tell me what other Toy Trucks they were fitted to (LC ?).

Any Toyota truck with a 3.0 or 3.4 V6 should have the R150F. At least in the States

I've one, $250 plus shipping. Has bellhousing, pressure plate and clutch with 150,000 kms on it. The clutch is actually not bad at all.

This is a pi$$er. You've got one and a clutch to throw in for a good price but its the transport costs that'll rule this out. I'll look into it in the meantime though. Thanks

A local phoned me here to offer me one for €900 which depending on wars and the like, would sometimes exchange straight for $900. I told him to go away :-D

Yes... I don't think it's a bolt in though - I'm a little foggy on what I've read a it was some time ago...

Maybe check the Supra forums or Lextreme?

Ive got a r150 in my 5 speed. 86 turbo model. I guess the R150 fits a lot of toyota trucks. Anyone know how good these transmissions are?.

The one in the Turbo is slightly different and won't bolt up to the V6. This is a very good transmission, I believe.

thats an R151, not at all the same. the R151 is easy to argue as the best truck transmission toyota makes. combines 6cyl strength with a gear driven tcase for lowered gearing and ease of adding another transfer case. I'm actually purchasing one to run behind my supra turbo but before anyone asks no it doesnt just bolt up to the supra motor, you have to some significant fabrication to make it work.
