I've attached the TSB there...

Simple solution is to press the "lock windows" button when you exit the car and problem solved... Or, you could fix according to the TSB, but that'll run you about 300 bux.

The window lock doesn't work on my 99 4runner. My window goes down everytime I start my truck. I have to use the key in the tailgate when the truck is off to put it up.

This may explain my problem. I have an after market remote but I disconnected it and it still goes down whenever I start the truck. I'm guessing a circuit is stuck open.

my window was doing this.

For some reason disconnecting the wiring on the rear hatch and reconnecting it reactivated the window. Maybe it reset the blue ECU? I'll be using the passenger window disabler for now. My remote does not have the option to roll down the rear window. It rolled it's self down in the middle of the night anyway.

I see a trip to the junkyard in my future. Thanks for all the help on this site.
