problems doing my LED switch
So I'm really new at all of this car stuff...but I'm learning a lot really fast...I just recently took apart my whole dash for the first time ever, first time really ever doing anything to my car. I have a 96 4runner.
Anyways...I took apart the dash to change all the bulbs to white LEDs...but I had a few problems.
Problem 1: My shifter, although it has the new white LED bulb, it still appears slightly green, though there is no green "condom" on the LED, the brightness is definitely there, but there is still a green tint. Any ideas why??
Problem 2: My ashtray bulb was also successfully replaced, but there is still a green tint...upon closer inspection I noticed a green layer within the ashtray which is causing the tint, I tried dremeling out a whole, but couldn't completely get rid of it...anyone else dealt with this??
Problem 3: cigarette lighter...I can't get the bulb out. I remember reading somewhere about someone breaking the bulb to replace it, and I also read something about using the two silver clips on the side of the bulb to get it out...i tried for so long my fingers started hurting and I couldn't locate where I read about the cig lighter before.
Please help me out with these probs...I hate having the lights mismatched.
Thanks so much in advance

Measure the round plastic base of the bulb, 8MM = a, 10MM = b, 12mm = c
