problems with alignment
before anybody tells me to use the search button. trust. i did.
on to business... my alignment is effed. and been that way since i bought the truck last year. took the truck to get alignment and was just told "no can do, go buy UCAs" which i couldnt afford at the time. its been a little over a year since the tires were installed on the truck (by the previous owner) and now i need to buy new tires myself. fortunately, the UCAs will be here shortly and installed as soon as i get them. that should help with the camber issue.
the other issue im having is with the toe angle. i know that is adjusted by the tie rods, but i just cant seem to be able to adjust them. got the truck jacked up just enough so the tire moves freely, yet the suspension is still supporting itself. broke the lock nut loose...and this is where im stuck. i tried turning the hex (or octagon, whatever) area immediately after the lock nut to no avail. blasted it with wd40 and let it sit for a few minutes before spraying it again and letting it sit for a few more. it just wont budge. anything im doing wrong?!?

With my truck the camber is messed up because of the common rear lower control arm tower is tweaked, it comes off the frame and the rear of your LCA is connected to it, there is no brace so they get tweaked (lots of threads on this). For the tie rod ends, sometimes they need to be heated up to move if it has been awhile.
