pro-comp spacer lift
I have a 97 4runner limited, with stock suspension. I found a pro-comp 2.5in spacer lift part no.(LL-5020) from a guy for $80 but cannot find a good review on the product. If anyone has had any experience with these I'd like to know about the durability and ride quality, and of course the looks! I am broke and would really like to just get some OME lift coils, but want a cheaper alternative. And also I cannot find any solid information as to whether I will have to do a front diff drop after this install or not?? And what type of rear lift would go well with the pro comp spacers? I have stock springs that sag only under load.

I have no personal experience with the Pro-Comp spacer lifts, but I do have experience with spacer lifts in general. I would never recommend them to anybody.
In the end, you will be much better off saving up and getting a true suspension lift. The ride quality will be much better, your CV's will not be as stretched, and it will be an overall better setup.
Either way you go, a diff drop is recommended. With the spacer lift, you are going to need all the help you can get for your CV's.
Bottom line, I always recommend avoiding spacer lifts.

Ok, sounds like ill just save a lil more and get some ome springs. I do a little wheeling, mainly just mud, water, and logs here in Louisiana, so ground clearance is my truck's best friend. I also do some occasional light duty towing. Guess I can use the search tool from here thanks for the info!

I will be running OME on my new Tacoma at some point.
