Power window switch conversion

I have a '98 4Runner. It has the power window switch with "auto" on the drivers window. I bought a switch from a '99 with "auto" on both front windows. I thought it would plug in. I thought wrong! Anyone know how to make it work? It has an extra 7 pin plug on it and the main harness is keyed a little different so it will not plug in. The plug can be made to work, but I don't think that is the complete answer. Anyone with help? If not, I'll have to put it back on Ebay. Thanks.
