Power DoorLocks: How they work?

sorry if i'm reposting.. i just looked for it again and couldnt' find it.

anyways.. the original question was.

my 92 had power door locks from the factory.
when you turn the key in the handle twice it would open the driver then the passenger door locks.

is there some kind of a "brain" some logic circuit that takes the input? or.. am i not understanding some other mechanical control??
I installed two wire solenoids from a parts place locally.

How many wires are on the OE toyota solenoids??
anyone have pix of the oe setup?

Anyways.. thanks guyz

yes, it used a module to do that.

Inexpensive aftermarket systems can do it without a brain, they just always unlock all doors any time you unlock one either from inside or from outside with a key.
