poor gas millage and gas smell, with a p0171 code
#43
Already did and it's running way better now and no CEL so far, drove it pretty good yesterday and no problems, I had to use jb weld to attach the little nozzle thing that sticks out for the line to go over, and idea what this part is and where to get it from? Besides a stealership?

If i remember right that part just threads into the power steering pump. Could try an auto parts store but they may not sell it alone from the pump. Or if you found one at a wrecking yard

Yea that's the part, I guess I'll try blue and gold, I've had pretty good luck withthem before , I just don't want a brittle old one that's gonna do the same thing laterddown the road, but I do need a new console so maybe that'sa good excuse ! Where are you you from 98?

Dreidel...use a propane torch...unlit....turn on the gas..and point it at all vacuum line/gasket areas.....it will rev up from propane if there is a leak.
