This is the code I have PO1135 see manual. The engine idles a little high 1100 should be 750-800. It idles fine but soon as you apply any throttle it falls on its face as if 4 or more cylinders are misfiring. Im trying to rescue this tacoma as it sat for a long time. It has good fuel, fuel filter new plugs and sprayed out throttle body. Again at idle it is smooth. I have not checked fuel pressure yet. I thought I would post this to see if someone has experienced this and found it to be a particular sensor even though that sensor didn't throw a specific code.

p.s. I also cleaned the MAF. Thanks in advance.

Huh? What manual did you use? P1135 is VERY specific; it's the heater circuit on the A/F (front exhaust) sensor. It is either the sensor (probable) or the associated wiring. As long as you have that code, you will be stuck in open loop and running rich--bad for your expensive cats (you have two). I'm guessing it probably runs OK when cold, and starts bogging when it warms up, as open loop was designed for cold engines.

There is no PO1135 except in a post office.

Here is the P1135 chapter from the 4Runner manual, I'm sure the Taco is the same.

Code indicates a bad front O2 sensor heater circuit.

That might be a good place to start.

Could be it just has so much corrosion from sitting so long you might get lucky.

Thank you for the replies, when I said "see manual" I meant thats what my Mac scan tool said (P1135 see manual). Again thanks for comments and I'll pick up a new A/F sensor and post back.
