Question Please help if you can....

Hey guys...
I just recently bought a used 1999 Toyota Prerunner with a supercharged 3.4L V6 engine, with 65,000 miles on it. The problem is this: Whenever I accelerate quickly and reach about 50 mph, this squeaking noise comes from under the hood when I let off the accelerator. I read somewhere that the stock superchargers on the 1999 prerunners can start to make squeaking noises after some time, but my supercharger isnt activated when I hear this noise. If anyone can give me any advice I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

My A/C isnt turned on when I hear the noise, so I know its not that. This noise only occurs when I accelerate to 50 and let off the gas.
Thanks for the reply though.

One of your belts is slipping. I'd check the tolerances on them and look for signs of fatigue. If all the belts look good, try tightening the tensioner on the looser belts. Another way to tell if it's the belts, spray them with some belt dressing or rub a bar of soap on them. If the sound goes away for a little while, then you know it's a belt.
