Plastic removal tips?

Ok, the plastic panels on my limited are starting to bug me. I'm not sure if I want to spray them black or get rid of them and the flares all together but either way they need to come off.

Does anyone know how to get them off or if there will be holes in the door panels once they are off?

There will be holes in the doors and fenders when they are removed, and the door have a wierd indent that the plastic piece sits in. It's really not very economical to remove the limited flares/door cladding for this reason.

The cladding and flares are the very reason I wanted to get an SR5 instead...

IMO just paint them!! I'm gonna be blacking mine out in the future!!

And IMO the plastic cladding gives you more protection out on the trail!! I rather scratch up the plastic then scratch and dent up the sheet metal!!

Yeah thats what I was affraid of. Its not really the color of them that bugs me its the fact that they are tired to the flares and how far the plastic on the flares stick out. I'm getting ready to build a front bumper and its gonna be interesting on how I can make something tie into the width of the front flares and still look good.
