Pcv Catch Can
I did this mod about 6 months ago. Problem is now I am getting alot more oil in the catch can than I di 3 months ago. I am hoping its the warm weather and not the valve seals. What would be another symptom of bad seals? Would I have white smoke? Everything is running great. I never had to empty the catchcan before . But now I had to empty it 2x in 1 month.

I thought about it and It has nothing to do with the seals. The pcv valve vents from the valve cover , there is already oil there. New pcv valve recently so its not stuck. It just seems like alot of oil, that would be slamming into my intake and caking on the sides. If I removed it , I would be cleaning that gunk off all the time.

depending on the climate and driving habits, older oil can carry more moisture changing the way it "vaporizes" when heated... I notice this a lot on my turbocharged track car

My set up is just like IronMike's, except it's for a 2.7l taco. My concern was the increased amount of oil in it in the past 3 months. But after researching a little more I found it to be a common amount. Good though on the steep trail idea but I live at the beach and there are no steep anything.
