Several people are asking about the mudflaps for SR5 3rd gens so I thought I'd just make a new post about it. Hope this helps.

You get yours put on yet? My fender flares are going to need some Forever Black now big time! I'm going to take mine off this week and Forever Black them real good, do jalaber's fender flare gasket mod, and wax the fenders real good and do some touch up paint before I put them back on.

There are five attach points on each mudflap, i hex head bolt that goes into the bottom of the rocker panel, 2 hex head screws that go into where you took off the running boards and two anchor type screws that go into holes in the existing fender flare!

TIP: Get a drill and drill out the holes just a tad in the mudflap that the anchor type screws go into so they push in easily. The screws are plastic and won't be forced in and drilling the tight plastic holes let them slide in with ease!

I don't think you need to do that. The correct fasteners have a core down the center which expands it once its in place. Simply remove the core and the fitting can be compressed to a much smaller diameter.

Once its in place, reinsert core (looks like a black plastic screw) and the fittings expand.

I did have the core out and it was still a real tight fit so I just drilled them a tad so they would go right in with minimal pressure. Then when I put the core screw in it screwed right in, clicked when the anchor expanded and help them puppies right in place perfect. I think that the holes in the plastic were just tight for some reason.
