Painting wheel wells?
I was just thinking that it might be nice to paint the inner wheel wells because they are browned out and look kinda crappy. Ive noticed that alot of other people also have ugly wheel wells. Has anyone done this? Any tips would greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy

LOL... go to wally world and get some rubberized undercoating and give the fender lining a shot of that. it comes in a spray can and is a couple bucks a can. make sure to wash everything off good first though.

I painted mine a few months ago, and every now and then I'll just take a sponge and soap to them to clean them, still looking good!
While you're at it, paint anything that looks ugly black
I had a blast doing mine. Took about 6 rattle cans.

i did the rubberized undercoating to my truck.. especially after the body lift, the silver bolts sticking through the body mounts jsut looked bad, as ddi the gold bumper brackets and golt bed load supporters... i hit the inside ofthe wheelwells too in the back.... found today that after some mild wheeling that my tiress chunked some of it off, so time to respray

it isnt tough like rhinoliner or herc, but it makes it look a lot better... and i like the texture look, it ends up being flat black as opposed t oglossy.... so it looks more natural under the truck

heh, i didnt do any prep work..... i jsut spray stuff...... cleaning it and maybe roughing up the surface with a scoth brite pad then cleaning it again should be sufficient, i guess it depends on how durable a finsih you wnat... i jsut wnated to cover stuff... if i have to respray it, i dont care

If your going to use under coat you have to use this. 3M's underseal rubberized undercoat(#08883...it has to be this number thou). It's pricey at $9.00 a can but its the best looking finish you can get. This was done 8 years ago and has not been touched since.
