P0120 TPS issues 2.7 & 3.4
Guys,
I have a 98 single cab 4x4 2.7 and a 2000 TRD 3.4
Both have this damn TPS code that will not go away. I read all of the stuff on cleaning the TB, so on my 2.7 I bought a bored TB from LCE and put a new TPS in at install. It went away for about 500 miles then came back. I am at my wits end, I have spent hours on here digging and not received much useable info, especially for the 2.7 The 2.7 has new plugs, wires, fuel filter, o2 sensors, injectors, new Dynomax Cat, NWOR header, you get the picture.
This is almost as frustrating as the P0420 catylist efficiency code both had and would never clear. I finally used a $20 "tuner" resistor wired into the downstream o2 sensor to kill that dragon once and for all.
