Oxygen sensor

So I am about two weeks away from ordering my lift from Sonoransteel and I want to get this check engine light figured out. I was told by an autozone technician and his OBDII tester that bank 1 was running lean. Well it turned out that I had a perfectly good injector lying around so I installed that hoping for an easy fix. Well holding true to my luck that wasn't the issue. Now I am thinking it is the oxygen sensor. I was on my way to the lake when the light turned on and my idiotic self had put fuel injector cleaner through the system for the trip. Well history has shown me that my toyotas do not like fuel injector cleaner. This was the cause of many heart aches with the Supra I had a few years ago. So I am thinking this is my problem now. My question is: does anyone have one they can part with for cheap shipped to NM or any suggestions on where to get an inexpensive one? I am trying to go cheap because if this doesn't fix the problem then I am looking at much more diagnostic work to get that stupid light off.

Awesome thank you for the info. It is my understanding that both O2 sensors are the same. Is that right? So if I buy one and try pre cat and it doesnt work I can remove it and install post cat and hope the idiot light goes out right?

With that in order, any suggestions with the Sonoran Steel lifts? Discounts? I finally found some reasonable 285's im slapping on the yota so it is finally time. I am wanting the 1.2 alternate lift with the heaavier duty shock as I do tow my boat (outboard motor, very low tongue weight) so I am hoping that will address any sag it may want to bring.

Bank 1 is the pre-cat O2 sensor, Bank 2 is post cat, they are not the same. Bank one measures fuel trim and Bank 2 measures catalyst efficiency. Bank 2 compares the input of Bank 1 and feedsback to the ECM. If one sensor is replaced the other should be. I realize that price is the issue but that's how to get the est results, just like when you replace an injector, sure you can replace the item, though you should really replace them all for full performance. O2 sensors work in conjunction with one another so I would reccomend it. Try www.rockauto.com, they're pretty reasonable, not sure if they cary oxygen sensors though. If it turns out to be a fuel trim issue (lean/rich), a fuel pressure gauge will help narrow your results down, good luck!

If you get under the truck and pull the numbers off the sensors you can get them on amazon. I got a Denso replacement for my post cat sensor for $55 I think and it resolved my P0420 CEL. The front on is on Amazon as well but its more expensive because it an air/fuel sensor. Like the previous post said they are not the same and not interchangeable.

If you are a 2000 w/Cali. emissions, front and rear are definitely not the same. If 49-state, they are the same sensor, but the wire length may be, and probably is, different. The proof of this is that Denso lists the same universal sensor (just wires no plug) for front and back on all 2000 49-state V6's. Look here:http://www.densoaftermarket.com/catalog/

At least on mine, the numbers stamped on the sensor are NOT part numbers.
