Optima Alternatives

I swear there were some posts a few years ago about alternatives to optima batteries. But I can't find it now. So . ..

Any suggestions before I spend the benjamins on a 34R optima?? Any links to online vendors would be great also.

Here's one thread talking about the orbital: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...ghlight=optima

I'm actually buying a 34R next week once PP gets a set in. For $100, I think it's worth it plus it looks good.

The only one I can think of is this http://www.odysseyfactory.com/ , but my vote would always be for an optima.

I guess I meant other spiralcell and/or gel type batteries. But thanks!

Cheapest I can find a 34R is ~$134 at Sears.
What is PP?
Where are you located?
Thanks.

PP is Performance Products. I'm not sure what their retail cost is but I have a buddy that works there and this is the cost he quoted me. I would have bought it that day but they were on back order.

I live in Los Angeles and PP is in the valley about 1/2 hour away.

Here's a link: http://www.performanceproducts.com/p...s+%26+Adapters

If you notice, there are two different red tops, one with 720 CCA and one with 800 CCA. I'm not sure which one he priced for me, probably the cheaper one.
