I got a slightly better price from Xtremeoffroad.com (he's also a member here), my fronts are backorderd tho.... hope to see 'em soon. I'm sure you could run bilsteins as well, but its not likely to save you much (if any).

If you can do the work yourself, you're all set for OME in that price range. If you can't, you better think about adding another $400.

A set of Bils should never cost over $300;I know members that got 'em cheap but I think that was a special buy but I bought a set from shox.com last year for $280 shipped.

OME coils and shocks are designed to work together, i've heard nothing but bad things when you try to mix and match other brands with OME.... like Jackson said you get what you pay for.
oh yeah I got my lift for under $600-

I have to third the "you get what you pay for" theory.

I just got my OMEs in the mail - and yeah they are expensive; but damn they are beefy...they look to be very solid. Plus they are built in Australia which is so ridiculously cool and awesome I cant even stand it

for all you guys who are wondering about the OME sagging issue:
Please refer to this thread for visual comparison between stock, OME 881 (With NO spacers), and Tundra lift

a few initial thoughts:
1) Bumps are absorbed better.
2) Cornering in tighter too.
3) During hard braking, the rig doesn't lean forward as much, to me I feel this should put less stress on the front pads. But not certain.
4) No downward feel (ie when I'm sitting in the rig, i feel I'm tilted downward a bit) now I feel level with the rig.
